Deep Thought

Acts 19:2 "and (Paul) asked them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" "No," they told him, "we haven't even heard that there is a Holy Spirit."

I don't hear this question asked much of people who claim to be believers. For Paul, the proof that you're a Christian is that you have received the Holy Spirit. True believers understand this connection. You truly can't have one (Christ) without the other (Spirit). So I encourage you to realize that being a Christian isn't about being a good man, but being a Spirit-filled man.
